Bruce Willis’ former tropical getaway on the market

The former tropical estate of retired movie star Bruce Willis is back on the market for US$37.5 million.

According to toptenrealestatedeals.com, the Die Hard actor offloaded the island getaway for US$27 million in 2019 as he continued to battle ongoing health concerns.

The beachfront estate in the Turks and Caicos on Parrot Cay sits on a total of eight acres in the COMO Parrot Cay resort.

Willis initially purchased the land in 2000, before he started building a tropical dream retreat that could accommodate multiple guests over several buildings.

Over the next four years the Hollywood megastar built three homes on the property, which included a total of 12 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms with 3251sq m of living space.

The six-bedroom main house was restyled and updated in 2020 by the new owners and is mostly for entertaining, with the additional two houses, each with its own pool, dedicated to the primary suite and guest house.

The upper level of the main house boasts a children’s retreat where they can play at the pool and the beach and there is also a playground that includes its very own pirate ship.

The estate includes a total of four pools and 335 metres of pristine beachfront access.
