Brisbane Skytower’s ‘The Horizon Collection’ released to market

The most exclusive residences in Brisbane’s tallest tower have been launched to the market, with potential buyers now having the opportunity to view the homes for the first time.

The Horizon Collection in the landmark 90-storey Brisbane Skytower in the heart of the CBD consists of 43 two and three-bedroom luxury residences and four penthouse apartments on the nine uppermost levels of the building, from floors 82 to 90.

The now-completed residences are expected to attract strong interest with known buyers eagerly anticipating The Horizon Collection, having waited for more than three years for construction on the top nine levels of the tower to be completed and the apartments to go on the market.

Brisbane Skytower, a residential tower developed by Billbergia and AMP Capital at 222 Margaret Street, was completed more than two years ago, with occupants of lower floors moving in while the top floors were still under construction.

The 90-storey residential tower is Brisbane’s tallest building and the sixth tallest building in Australia, with a height of 270 metres. It has the southern hemisphere’s highest infinity pool, which will be for the exclusive use of residents in The Horizon Collection.

Residences in The Horizon Collection will be priced from $1.2 million to $7.9 million, with a collective value of circa $115 million.

The apartments feature the highest quality fittings and finishes, with luxury inclusions from high-end brands such as Villeroy & Boch, Gaggenau and Miele, as well as Grigio Argento marble or Carrara porcelain floors.

As well as the infinity pool, residents in The Horizon Collection apartments will have exclusive access to private entertainment spaces and a comprehensively fitted gym, as well as the option to have lifestyle services provided by The Westin Hotel, which forms part of the lower levels of the Brisbane Skytower.

Knight Frank has been appointed as the exclusive selling agency for The Horizon Collection. Director of Prestige Residential Sales in Queensland, Jason March, said the residences and penthouses were expected to attract a number of strong enquiries.

“We have several strong prospects who have been waiting to inspect these exceptional residences,” he said.

“The opportunity to live in the top nine levels of this amazing building is very limited. With only 43 residences and the four magnificent penthouses on levels 88 upwards this is a very rare opportunity.

“The unrivalled views in The Horizon Collection offer a spectacular outlook of Brisbane and beyond, reaching out to Moreton Bay, Stradbroke Island, down to the Gold Coast and the Great Dividing Range.

“The quality finishes in each of the residencies, coupled with luxurious facilities and the close proximity to Brisbane landmarks such as the Botanic Gardens, the Queen Street Mall, South Bank and the Brisbane River define The Horizon Collection as Brisbane’s finest residential opportunity.”

Murray Wood, Knight Frank Partner, Residential Project Marketing Australia, said enquiries for the residences were coming from a wide audience, however owner-occupiers were expected to be the primary buyers for The Horizon Collection apartment release.

“Demand for prestige property is particularly strong at the moment, with the top end of the market leading the national recovery in the housing market,” he said.

“We have already been fielding enquiries from high-net-worth locals looking for a luxury completed city residence as well as expat Australians seeing the value and opportunity,

“The prices are exceptional value given the location, the quality of the residences and the views on offer.

“The quality and views are best experienced when you’re in the residence; renders or photos don’t do it justice, so we are excited for potential buyers to see it in person.”
