Billionaire puts Brisbane’s tallest penthouse on the market

Brisbane’s tallest penthouse, standing 270 m high, has hit the market.

According to realestate.com.au, the current owner is Russian-born entrepreneur Alex Sekler who paid $10.26 million for the apartment in August 2020.

The penthouse is yet to be finished but spans levels 88, 89 and 90 of the Brisbane Skytower building at 222 Margaret Street.

The three levels combine to form 704sq m of living space, with four bedrooms on level 88 along with the main living areas and a separate study.

The master bedroom is situated on level 90 and 89 and comes with a private retreat that looks out across the city.

There’s also a private lift, 360-degree views, a study, two powder rooms and parking for four cars.

Homes in the top 11 levels of Skytower also have exclusive access to a host of amenities including a gym, business lounge and the world’s highest infinity pool.

The partially completed property will allow the new owner to customise the finishing touches and fit out and make it a home of their own.

There is also the option to unite the property with another and to create an extraordinary 10-bedroom, 10-bathroom and eight-car residence according to the listing.
