Hollywood power couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck aren’t just back together, they’re reportedly buying a massive Bel Air mansion together.
Set on 1.2 acres, the luxurious home is across the road from the Bel Air Country Club.
Built in the 1930s and designed by architect Paul Williams, the home has undergone some sizeable modifications in more recent years.
Currently owned by hedge fund manager Todd Lemkin and wife Kasey, the couple paid $27.6 million for the property in 2016 and then gave the home a full-scale renovation.
It’s now an elegant abode with impressive views over the Century City skyline and features 10 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms.
Listed by Hilton & Hyland’s Drew Fenton and Linda May, the home has grandly scaled rooms that open out to a sprawling backyard, and a separate guesthouse.
If JLo and Ben want to whip up some dinner, the property has four kitchens to choose from – the main kitchen in the house, the catering kitchen in the house, a kitchen in the guesthouse and an outdoor kitchen in the backyard.
Other highlights of the three-level abode include a movie theatre to watch all of Bennifer’s flicks, a wine cellar, a wood-panelled office and an array of formal and informal living and dining spaces.
The master retreat is stunning and features a sitting room, double baths and walk-in closets/dressing rooms to rival the finest retail stores.
Downstairs, a full basement level includes a media room, a gym and a private ‘security suite’ for a bodyguard.
In the hot summer months Ben, Jen and the kids (they have five between them) can cool off in the infinity-edged pool, after which they can relax by the fire-pits or use the putting green.
JLo and Ben had a widely publicised 18-month romance from 2002 to 2004 and collaborated on two films together during their relationship, Gigli and Jersey Girl.
They were engaged in 2002 but postponed their wedding before breaking up in early 2004. JLo went on to marry Marc Anthony, while Ben married Jennifer Garner.
Ben and JLo rekindled their romance in May 2021, after divorcing their respective spouses.
