Belle Property opens first projects office with Colin Hatch at the helm

Belle Property has announced the launch of its first dedicated Belle Property Projects office – the latest venture for the growing real estate brand.

Located in Bowen Hills in Brisbane, and led by veteran agent and Principal Colin Hatch, the office will be the first of several to be opened across the eastern seaboard of Australia.

“There has been a major shift in the demand for boutique projects right across the country, particularly in Brisbane where the market has stabilised and is attracting a lot of interest from buyers and investors,” Belle Property CEO, Peter Hanscomb, said.

“Belle Property Projects will capitalise on the growing interest in inner-city living we’re seeing across a range of demographics, bringing its unique approach to superior customer service and premium results to clients in this specialised sector.”

Colin Hatch, who has been in real estate for more than 20 years, will transition to Belle Property Projects from his role as Principal of Belle Property Samford and Belle Property Cashmere; a position he has held since 2012.

“Our projects business has been in the works for some time, but as with all our business decisions they are about our people. We had been waiting for the right person with the right skills to move the projects arm forward ,” Mr Hanscomb said.

“Colin has been with our business for a number of years. We know how he operates and what he brings to the table, so are looking forward to seeing his transition in this new direction.”

Mr Hatch is launching the Bowen Hills-based business with several major developments already on the books.

With two interest rate cuts and reduced uncertainty around lending, Brisbane is entering a new property cycle and buyers and investors understand that now is the time to act, particularly in inner-city Brisbane where space is scarce ,” Mr Hatch said.

“I started my real estate career working in a project’s capacity, and there is major opportunity for growth in this sector.

“I am a customer-centric operator and as such, I am still in contact with many of my clients and contacts from years past. While this is certainly a strategic move to capitalise on what the market is doing now, it is also a welcome return to my roots.”
