BizCover was first named a winner of the Insurance Business 5-Star Insurance Innovators award in 2022 and then again in 2024.
The award is presented to pioneering companies in Australia and New Zealand that have demonstrated their commitment to cutting-edge innovation by modernising and transforming insurance practices.
Brad Hoyle is Manager of Operational Excellence at BizCover.
He believes that winning the award for the third time is a true reflection of BizCover’s ongoing mission to revolutionise the small business insurance industry.
“In 2024, BizCover made some astounding leaps forward – especially in regard to AI technology,” Mr Hoyle said.
“A lot of companies are still content to just dabble in AI, but they risk being left behind in the dust.
“At BizCover, we’re powering right ahead with AI because we know that it will enable us to conduct more business, faster, with better results for our customers and our insurance partners.”
Some of BizCover’s most noteworthy technological achievements in 2024 included Echo, a revolutionary core compliance tool, and Plinko, a conversational GPT-powered occupation assistant.
Both of these tools have been custom-built in-house to streamline business processes and optimise customer service excellence at BizCover.
“When we first began focusing our attention on AI, our goal was to engineer something in-house that perfectly suited the business’s needs, rather than outsourcing that job,” Mr Hoyle said.
“Now, we’re working on projects like Echo and Plinko that demonstrate truly cutting-edge AI capability.”
This commitment to innovative ways of thinking and dedication to customer service has remained a strong part of BizCover’s overall company mission for the past 17 years.
Being named as a winner of the 5-Star Insurance Innovators award proves that the company is determined to remain a trailblazing leader in the Australian insurance industry.
“Winning this award for a third time is an incredible achievement for BizCover,” Mr Hoyle said.
“And next year, we plan on raising the bar even higher.”
