The hitmaker behind collaborations with Michael Jackson and Dr. Dre has transformed the 1977 traditional home into a blend of classic elegance and modern California living.

Grammy Award-winning record producer Theron “Neff-U” Feemster has put his Tarzana, California home on the market for $4.395 million (AUD$6.7 million) after owning the property for nearly six years.

The 5,000-square-foot traditional-style home, built in 1977, features six bedrooms and six bathrooms spread across two stories according to the listing.

Despite its 1970s origins, the interior design blends classic elements with modern features throughout the residence.

The property sits in the suburban neighbourhood of Tarzana in the San Fernando Valley, just north of the Santa Monica Mountains.

The area derives its name from writer Edgar Rice Burroughs’ ranch, who created the character Tarzan.
