Australian property professionals have until midnight this Friday, November 18, to finalise their submissions for the 2022 Annual REA Excellence Awards (AREAs).
Back for its seventh year, with two new awards and exciting winner benefits, the 2022 AREAs consist of more than 40 awards that focus on innovation, service, marketing, wellbeing and community.
Established in 2016, the AREAs celebrate the success of property industry professionals and their outstanding performance in supporting Australians through every aspect of their property journey.
The awards include submission-based categories and awards powered by realestate.com.au and realcommercial.com.au data.
This year, two new awards have been introduced based on customer feedback and with the objective of recognising even more customers.
The Rising Star Award, aimed at those who are making an impact early in their property career, and the Support Superstar of the Year, recognising an individual who delivers exceptional behind the scenes support.
REA Group Chief Customer Officer Kul Singh said he anticipated an incredibly high calibre of submissions after the success of last year’s awards.
“The AREAs continue to be bigger and better every year and last year we had a record number of submissions,” he said.
“This year is no different, with new awards to be won and more profiling opportunities with consumers than ever before. We’re also looking forward to coming together for an in-person celebration to announce the winners in early 2023.
“We want our customers to love doing business with us, and the AREAs is a fantastic way to recognise and celebrate their standout achievements. Our panel of independent expert judges will have their work cut out for them assessing the amazing work of our customers.
“The prize package includes industry media coverage, personalised marketing assets and paid media exposure which can all make a real difference to our customers. The award categories are each designed to assist our customers to win new business, positioning them very well with potential vendors and clients.”
