Zed Nasheet on stage for Million Dollar Evening with the Altman Brothers

In a little over a decade, Australian real estate agent Zed Nasheet has risen from hot dog salesman to rising local real estate star, notching up some achievements along the way.

Aged only 27, he’s been in the game around eight years and recently opened his own agency, listing $45 million worth of property in the first two months. Last year alone he racked up $220,000 gross commission in a single month after selling $30 million worth of real estate.

Now Zed will share some of his unique expertise, joining international industry sensations the Altman brothers as part of the ‘Million Dollar Evening’ tour.

On Friday March 2, Zed will take to the stage at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, introducing the event and providing an insight into his success.

Zed explains his real estate journey has seen him embrace every opportunity and learning experience available to rise to the top of his field.

After arriving in Australia as a young boy, Zed entered the sales arena retailing hot dogs at age 14. He soon progressed to Telstra salesperson, attaining the number one position, and was offered a job in real estate when he turned an agent’s telecommunications complaint into a sale.

But he admits he struggled at first in an industry where he knew little, and the competition was tough.

“Everyone said I should quit, but my father told me it was about education and knowledge. I learnt self-belief was the key and you could not build an empire overnight.”

It may not have been overnight, but Zed is well on his way to establishing an empire. He spent four years in the position of top agent for LJ Hooker Melbourne and Tasmania before taking the plunge to go it alone late last year.

Since opening Zed Real Estate in December, the business has “zold” 18 properties and listed a further $45 million. And his arena is not just Australia but the world, with a philosophy he’ll “sell anything, anywhere”.

Along with passion, persistence, and commitment to his clients, Zed credits his success to savvy use of social media and branding, and he will share this social media expertise as part of the Million Dollar event.

“The first impression is the last impression and business is personal. Social media has changed the industry, and now it’s all on the line,” he notes.

Now Zed has further plans to increase his brand. In addition to acting as an international agent and real estate mentor, he has an online web series entitled ‘Just listed by Zed’. He is also taking the step into TV, with his own property series currently in the works. It features the philosophy that if you have the tenacity and drive, you really can live the Australian dream.

Zed will be on stage for a ‘Million Dollar Evening with The Altman Brothers and Special Guest Luis D Ortiz’ on Friday, March 2 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The tour continues in Sydney and Brisbane, with tickets available at
