Realmark and Altitude to join forces on 1 Feb, creating Realmark Urban

Growth could be on the way with two of the Stateโ€™s most respected agencies preparing to join forces on 1 February 2018

In welcome news for consumers and industry, the upcoming merger between the Realmark Real Estate Group and Altitude Real Estate will enable the combined agencies to offer their clients a more efficient, effective and influential way to buy, sell, lease, manage and finance property.

Founded by Paul Tonich and his cousin Nathan Tonich in 2008, Altitude Real Estate is one of Perthโ€™s most successful boutique agencies, with 25 employees and an enviable track record in the western suburbs, northern suburbs and city fringes.

According to Realmark Managing Director, John Percudani, the merger demonstrates how Realmark is attracting other high-performing agencies, and expanding through strategic growth that enables them to effectively upscale their operations, better serve their clients and provide career development opportunities for their employees.

Acknowledging the strong strategic fit between the two agencies, Mr Percudani said he was delighted Altitude had chosen to join Realmarkโ€™s network of 15 residential offices and 300 employees.

โ€œAs an industry pacesetter in WA for almost 30 years, Realmark continues to attract top calibre agencies and professionals to our network who value how we are adapting to the rapidly evolving nature of real estate business,โ€ Mr Percudani said.

โ€œThese agents understand that consumer expectations are different today, and they recognise how important it is to be part of a โ€˜smart agencyโ€™ that has the knowledge and resources to provide clients with real-time, best practice solutions.โ€

โ€œBy combining Altitudeโ€™s social media marketing strategies with Realmarkโ€™s extensive client database, we will have the strongest reach of any real estate group in WA โ€“ and the ability to use our unique digital expertise to bring properties directly to more people.โ€

Mr Tonich said Realmark Urban would leverage the strength of a larger, well-established WA network that understands the local market, and combines boutique agency values with a modern approach to real estate.

โ€œReal estate is a competitive business and weโ€™re always looking for ways to enhance how we deliver property services to our clients, and how we develop the next generation of real estate leaders within our business,โ€ Mr Tonich said.

โ€œWe considered the strong synergies between Altitude and Realmark โ€“ our shared values, supportive culture and community commitment โ€“ and felt the Realmark model offered us the best platform for growth and flexibility.โ€

Mr Tonich will join Realmarkโ€™s executive leadership team and will take on additional roles within the network as a practice leader and executive coach.
