Vines to lead Ray White Commercial NSW Western Sydney

Successful commercial real estate agent Peter Vines has taken charge of Ray White Commercial NSW – Western Sydney with aspirations to expand and dominate the market.

With 15 years of experience behind him in both Australia and Europe, Mr Vines said the growth opportunities for a commercial business in that area of Sydney were enormous.

“The western suburbs are the epicentre of Sydney with a lot of money being poured into infrastructure out there,” Mr Vines said.

“I genuinely believe there’s a huge opportunity to take market share from competitors and offer people something different.

“I’d like to expand the current team to increase focus on industrial leasing and sales, as well as having commercial operators across the west and south-west of Sydney.”

Mr Vines said he aimed to open offices in Liverpool and Penrith further down the track.

These grand plans come from a man who left school at the age of 15 to work with his father at the family business.

“I started off my career doing a bit of reception work and leasing a few bits and pieces before making the leap to Europe and working in London for a year,” he said.

“From London, I moved to Paris but had to settle for a job in events rather than real estate, as my French wasn’t quite up to scratch.

“After learning the language, I worked for a commercial property business selling assets all over France, before moving back home to Sydney in 2010.

“I then took a big step forward by securing a role in Parramatta, where I went from being a junior in a team of three, to managing a team of 15 at the market’s peak.”

Mr Vines, who has been married to his wife Ruby for eight years and has two young children, said his family had always been involved in real estate and Ray White as a fourth-generation family-owned business really appealed to him.

“My family and I have been around property all my life and the family values and having the ability to have my own professional family was an opportunity too good to miss,” he said.

“When you combine that with Jeff Moxham, Joseph Assaf and the existing team being so well-respected in the industry, I knew I was onto a winner.”

Ray White Commercial NSW Managing Director and Partner Jeff Moxham said Mr Vine’s addition was an exciting step in the growth of the Ray White Commercial NSW brand.

“Peter’s reputation, work ethic and contacts in the industry are renowned and constantly reflected in his success,” Mr Moxham said.

“He will thrive in the entrepreneurial environment that is Ray White.

“It’s this environment that truly sets us apart from our competitors, one that’s driven by the same thirst for continuous improvement that has seen our partners, the White family, grow from one office to more than 1,000 across the globe.

“There’s nothing else like it in the corporate commercial market.”

Ray White Group Managing Director Dan White said welcoming such a high-calibre professional to the family was a significant moment in the continued development of the Ray White commercial network.

“He not only wants to build his own business and lead a great team, but he wants to build something special,” Mr White said.

“Combine his ambition and track record with everything that is happening in Western Sydney, and we have a huge opportunity to be the commercial industry leader in that critical market.”
