Independent South Australian real estate agency Turner Real Estate has reached an agreement to acquire Steadfast Property Managers.
The business will be gradually integrated into Turner Real Estate’s extensive property management division, resulting in a rent roll of 2600 properties – one of the largest in South Australia today.
Steadfast Property Managers is a locally owned property management business founded in 2011 by Mark Leslie, who built the rent roll rapidly over eight years. He is now looking forward to partnering with Turner Real Estate and also enjoying a little more time with family.
Turner Real Estate Managing Director, Lachlan Turner, said the acquisition was an important step in the overall growth strategy of the 28-year-old agency.
“There were many immediate synergies in how Steadfast manage properties and how we both value our clients, and so the conversations to join forces just started from there,” Mr Turner said.
“Owners trust us to manage their most valuable assets in property and we always keep that at the front of our mind, which delivers a service that is deeper than simply pushing paper or ticking the boxes.
“As a proudly independent agency we are focussed on providing a range of housing options to our clients and with this acquisition we will embed Turner as one of the largest and most respected Property Management businesses in the state.”
Mr Leslie said he was thrilled to see his business live on through Turner Real Estate.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed building this business over the past eight years and I am content in the fact that it is now in safe hands especially as five of my team are continuing on with our clients,” Mr Leslie said.
“Turner are a family organisation and our values align perfectly. This partnership will ensure exemplary service to our now mutual client base – something I am very excited to see.
Mr Turner added that the depth and extent of the combined experiences of both businesses was an important consideration when formalising the partnership.
“With mandatory property management licensing coming into effect later this month, it was important that we took into account the depth of knowledge and training that the merged teams would boast.
“Pleasingly, licensing was a mere formality as the majority of the mutual teams have all been licensed for quite some time and of course boast many years of experience in property management.” Mr Turner said
Turner Real Estate is 100 per cent South Australian owned by Robin and Lachlan Turner. The business was founded by Robin Turner who recognised an opportunity to professionalise property management and enhance the service for clients.
From there, the business has incrementally grown to be an industry recognised leader, not just within SA, but right across Australia.
