Tina Ashton grows her role at Harcourts

Tina Ashton is all about growth and the chief growth officer has also seen her role grow to focus on the Harcourts brand on a national level.

Ms Ashton said she is excited to see the agency expanding so rapidly.

โ€œIn 2023, I was offered an opportunity to join Harcourts, the second largest real estate group in Australia,โ€ Ms Ashton said.

โ€œKnowing that Harcourts had 879 offices was enticing, as I knew a business of this calibre would have a strong foundation for growth.

โ€œInitially my focus was on the expansion of Harcourts NSW.

โ€œAfter a short time, we identified an overwhelming interest from offices across the entire nation, which led, this year, to an evolution of my CGO role.โ€

Now firmly in a national position, Ms Ashton has come a long way, very quickly.

โ€œI started real estate in 1996, and worked 17 years in sales before transitioning to corporate,โ€ she said.

โ€œIn 1999 I was recognised as top 30 agent internationally and enjoyed a decorated sales career.ย

โ€œI transferred to corporate in 2013 as โ€˜Head of Growthโ€™ for a major RE franchise and ensured the unprecedented expansion of the group.โ€

Harcourts Australia Chief Executive Officer, Adrian Knowles, said he was very happy to have Ms Ashton onboard.

โ€œTina is the unequivocal best franchise growth strategist in Australia,โ€ Mr Knowles said.

โ€œAn industry leader and high achiever, Tina’s reputation as one of the industry’s foremost negotiators remains unparalleled.โ€

Ms Ashton said she felt privileged to work with a franchise that has such broad reach.

โ€œHarcourts hold over 50 per cent market share in areas of New Zealand, one in four homes in Tasmania are sold by our team, and we are extremely strong in Queensland: with some of the biggest offices in Australia, including Harcourts Connections, having over 60 agents in their team,โ€ she said.

โ€œWorking closely with Harcourts Australia CEO Adrian Knowles has been fantastic.

โ€œFirmly focussed on growth, we are working together to achieve record new office numbers, for the next decade.โ€

She said the brand had more expansion plans in the works.

โ€œBefore the end of financial year, weโ€™ll open offices in every state, with multiple offices set to open in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, East Corridor of Melbourne, and Western Australia,โ€ she said.

โ€œHaving an unwavering commitment to growth and excellence, Ms Ashton has no doubt as to the future and her expanded role.

โ€œAs CGO I will implement a strategy for Harcourts to become the fastest growing group in Australia.โ€
