Thomas Fuller doesn’t talk about real estate like most agents do. He talks about it like a game plan.
“It’s all just reps,” he says. “All the principles are the same, do the process, do the work, and deliver on game day.”
It’s a mindset forged long before he ever listed a property. Straight out of school, Thomas took on a carpentry apprenticeship while chasing a career in professional rugby, coming through the NRL Development Pathways before moving into the Waratahs & ARU system. It was a punishing schedule that taught him the value of repetition, resilience and showing up prepared, lessons that now underpin the way he runs a campaign.
Then, at 20, everything changed. Thomas became a father, and with it came a new kind of pressure: not to win on Saturday, but to build a future for his family.
He turned his tools and his work ethic toward real estate, joining Ray White in Woollahra six years ago to start a career that would let him do exactly that.
Now 27, Thomas is a father of three, with children aged seven, four and one, and says that family-first drive is still what pushes him every day.
Growing up as one of three himself, in the tight-knit streets of Clovelly, he’s always thrived on a busy, full house, and he brings that same energy and warmth to the way he works with clients.
That eastern suburbs upbringing is more than a talking point, it’s a genuine edge. “I know what sellers have an affinity for in this area,” Thomas says.
“I grew up here, and I love the beaches.” It’s local knowledge that can’t be manufactured: the streets, the schools, the lifestyle pull that brings buyers to the east in the first place.
Six years after he started, Thomas has returned to the Ray White network, this time as part of the newly launched Ray White Phillips & Co led by the top agent in Australia, Alexander Phillips.
“It’s so great being back in the Ray White family,” he says. “We are yellow at heart here and we love the support we have received.”
He’s quick to point out how much has changed at Ray White since he was fresh into the industry.
As a more established agent now, he’s come to rely on and value the systems and support built into the network, from NurtureCloud through to the administration and marketing backing that lets agents focus their energy where it counts: with clients.
Looking ahead, Thomas is focused on staying a step or two in front of the market, anticipating policy changes and shifting conditions before they land, so his clients’ interests are always protected. It’s that same discipline that carried him through rugby: read the play early, do the work, and deliver when it matters.
With his sharp eye for detail, his local roots and a work ethic shaped on the football field, Thomas is exactly the kind of agent Ray White Phillips & Co was built around.
