The Queensland mansion where Johnny Depp and Amber Heard stayed is for sale

The Queensland property Johnny Depp, Amber Heard and their two Yorkshire terriers made famous is on the market.

The luxurious Coomera property, known as Diamond Head Estate, is expected to sell for $40 million according to the Daily Mail.

The troubled pair rented the 10-bedroom, 10-bathroom property from MotoGP world champion Mick Doohan in 2015 while Depp filmed Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales.

It’s also where the two dogs were held under house arrest after the former couple smuggled them into Australia illegally.

The property is again in the headlines as a result of current defamation court proceedings between Depp and Heard in the US.

Listed with Amir Prestige, the listing for the 18ha property describes it as an estate of “unsurpassed luxury, serenity and seclusion”.

“Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have also been guests of the Mega Mansion,” the listing states.

The property features 628m of Coomera and Pimpama River frontage, with manicured, park-like grounds surrounding the main home with its five ensuite bedrooms, multiple entertaining areas, home theatre and wine cellar.

The house has a timber staircase, polished marble floors, and sandstone and limestone fixtures while the main bedroom is fitted with its own built-in cinema.

The property has Surfers Paradise, Broadwater and South Stradbroke views, along with a 20m wet edge pool, a six-car garage, man cave with fully equipped bar, a three-bedroom guest house, a two-bedroom caretaker’s cottage, and even a concrete landing area for a helicopter.

Other amenities include an outdoor kitchen, tennis courts, elevators, a go-kart track and a marina.

Pitt and Jolie stayed in the mansion during the filming of Jolie’s movie Unbroken in 2013.
