Former director of Ray White Walkerville, Liam McDevitt, has stepped into the role as a sales partner at Ray White St Peters and is excited about the business’s future growth.
“Ray White St Peters is at the forefront of real estate in South Australia, so to combine our sales teams was a no-brainer,” Mr McDevitt said.
Mr McDevitt and his wife are expecting their first child in late June/early July, which was the driving factor behind the decision to merge businesses.
“Being a neighbouring suburb in a prestigious market made the decision easier,” he said.
Ray White St Peters director Sam Brincat said he and Mr McDevitt have had a professional relationship for years, which developed into a strong friendship.
“We share many interests and it was an easy decision for us to come together as I really do value working with people who hold similar morals and ethics – he’s an easy going guy like me, so it works well,” Mr Brincat said.
Mr McDevitt who has worked in the real estate industry for more than 18 years, and has owned Ray White Walkerville for five years said combining families was a “no-brainer”.
“Our clients can expect more of the same high level service, but with the backing of a larger team and support,” he said.
He explained the business merger meant strengthening the Ray White brand in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide.
“We’re able to pull resources to ensure our clients receive the best in all aspects of buying and selling real estate,” he said.
“Sam is a family man and so am I, and above all we work with families making each transaction a personal success.
“As a sales agent, now I can solely focus on the listing and selling of property, with the extra support for my family.”
Ray White South Australia and Northern Territory CEO Matt Lindblom expressed his support for the office amalgamation.
“Liam and Sam have shown how a strong friendship can transform into a business partnership combining experience, excellence, enthusiasm and a strong community focus,” Mr Lindblom said.
“I look forward to seeing their future achievements as they continue to have a positive impact in the local residential market – and the Ray White family.”
