Sam Borg Named Director of Ray White Woodside

Sam Borg has been appointed director of Ray White Woodside, a new standalone business launching in the Adelaide Hills alongside Ray White Mount Barker owner Ryan Keatley.

Sam, 27, will manage day-to-day sales and lead the Woodside team, while Ryan moves into an advisory role focused on business operations.

The appointment caps six years with the Ray White Group for Sam, who progressed from sales associate to Elite status for two consecutive years before stepping into ownership.

Sam said business ownership had always been part of his mindset, having grown up around parents who ran successful local businesses for more than 25 years.

“Being immersed in that environment from a young age, I gained firsthand insight into both the rewards and challenges of running a business,” he said.

“Most importantly, the strong values, integrity, and work ethic demonstrated by my parents have had a lasting influence and continue to shape the way I approach both business and life.”

Sam said the shift from a satellite office to a permanent business would allow the team to better serve the community.

“Our focus is on providing authentic, exceptional service across all aspects of real estate, with a particular specialisation in lifestyle and rural properties,” he said.

Ryan said Sam’s background and track record made him the right fit for the expansion.

“Sam has a strong business mindset and a proven work ethic,” he said.

“I set clear performance benchmarks for him to achieve before transitioning into business ownership, and he met them all.”

Ryan added the partnership would let the pair deliver a full-service offering to the Adelaide Hills market, backed by the operational systems already in place at the Mount Barker business.

Ray White Woodside opens with two experienced team members, with a third joining at launch. The business plan includes immediate growth across both sales and property management, with Sam and Ryan aiming to expand the team as the office grows.

Ray White South Australia CEO Matt Lindblom welcomed the appointment, pointing to it as an example of the network’s internal leadership pathways.

“Sam’s back-to-back Elite status highlights his dedication, leadership and talent, and seeing another sales associate progress to a business owner reflects the core leadership pathways within Ray White,” he said.

“Supported by Ryan’s operational experience, we look forward to supporting Ray White Woodside’s growth and future success.”
