Ray White Commercial CSR (RWC CSR) has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Grant Turner as Head of Commercial Sales & Leasing, signalling the group’s intent as it enters its next phase of growth.

Mr Turner joins Principal Mukhtaar Hashim, CEO of Retail Julie Ryan and Head of Asset Management Annabelle Weir in a collaborative leadership structure focused on building a high-performance, people-first business.

With a career spanning nearly two decades, Mr Turner brings broad experience across commercial sales and leasing, digital marketing and proptech, including national leadership roles with realestate.com.au. He is widely regarded for his energy, industry relationships and ability to bring people together.

Importantly, the appointment reflects a natural progression within the business. Mr Turner has spent the past several years working alongside industry leader Julie Ryan, helping drive the retail division and building strong momentum in the market.

Ms Ryan, recognised as one of the most respected figures in commercial real estate, has more than 30 years’ global experience and is widely regarded as a mentor to top-performing agents across the Ray White network. Her focus on strategy, service excellence and investment sales has significantly shaped RWC CSR’s growth to date.

Mr Turner said the opportunity to step into a broader leadership role was built on the strength of the existing team.

“Working alongside Julie has been a gift. We share a passion for retail property and greatly enjoy collaborating with one another. Julie’s extensive industry knowledge and unwavering commitment to her clients are exceptional, and together we form a strong team dedicated to delivering outstanding outcomes,” he said.

“This next step is really about building on that incredible foundation and contributing to the team’s continued growth.”

Mr Hashim said the appointment reflects the business’s long-term vision.

“We are focused on creating an environment where great people can do their best work,” he said.

“Grant brings strong leadership qualities and a genuine passion for the industry, and we’re excited about what that means for our team and our clients.”

In his new role, Mr Turner will continue to actively transact while supporting team development, structure and growth, working closely with Ms Weir, whose asset management division continues to deliver consistent outcomes for clients.

Together, the leadership team is focused on building a business that is progressive, supportive and well positioned for the future.

“Our focus is simple,” Mr Turner said.

“It’s about great people, the right support and a strong team culture.  That’s what allows individuals to become their best and deliver exceptional results. Everyone wins!”
