REA Group is marking the 10th anniversary of its Excellence Awards, recognising outstanding realestate.com.au and realcommercial.com.au customers whose passion, expertise and dedication help Australians throughout their property journey.

Submissions for the 2026 awards are open until 11:59pm on Friday 6 November.

This year, there will be 11 submission-based categories and a data-driven Top Agent award, recognising the top residential sales agents across Australia.

The Top Agent award, introduced last year, recognises the highest performing residential sales agent in suburbs across the country by using the same trusted data that powers realestate.com.au Agent Search rankings.

Eligible customers will be automatically entered into the data-driven Top Agent award. Top Agents will be recognised on realestate.com.au with a badge on their Agent Profile for 12 months.

The submission-based categories will recognise achievements across service, innovation, leadership, marketing and community impact, among REA Group customers across residential, commercial, new homes and media.

Winners of the submission-based awards will join an exclusive list of the industry’s highest performers and innovators.

Each winner will receive a package designed to help maximise their recognition, including grants of up to $10,000 to invest in their business, community, or professional development, personalised visual assets to promote their achievement online, and profiling opportunities across realestate.com.au platforms, with exposure to both industry and consumer audiences.

Categories include:

  • Residential Agency of the Year – Metro
  • Residential Agency of the Year – Regional
  • Property Management Team of the Year
  • Commercial Agency of the Year
  • Rising Star of the Year
  • Game Changer of the Year
  • Most Influential Woman in Property
  • Contribution to Local Community
  • Immersive Campaign of the Year
  • Brand Campaign of the Year
  • Project Campaign of the Year

REA Group Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer, Katrina Konstas, said the Excellence Awards recognise the best of the best, from high-performing agents and innovative agencies to emerging leaders and businesses creating positive change.

“We know one in three sellers believe awards or industry recognition are important when selecting an agent. An REA Excellence Award gives finalists and winners an edge in new business conversations and to highlight in marketing.

“In answering three simple questions, and putting your success story forward, you’re giving yourself a chance to turn recognition into your next listing.”

Previous winner John Thompson from OC Real Estate said:

“If you’re considering entering the REA Excellence Awards, I’d highly recommend it. The submission process gives you a valuable opportunity to step back, reflect on your strategy and make sure you’re walking the talk.

“Winning both Residential Agency of the Year and Property Management Team of the Year gave the OC team an enormous sense of pride and achievement, helped us celebrate our people and strengthen our brand.”

An independent expert judging panel will select the submission-based award winners, with finalists and winners announced in February.
