REA Group has announced the internal promotion of Kul Singh to the position of Chief Sales Officer and a member of the Executive Leadership Team, commencing January 20.
In his new role, Mr Singh will be responsible for all aspects of sales across REA Group, including sales teams supporting residential, developers, commercial and media customers.
Mr Singh joined REA Group in 2015, assuming a number of leadership roles across marketing, international and customer portfolios during this time. Prior to this he held senior sales and strategy positions at GE Capital and GlaxoSmithKline.
REA Group CEO Owen Wilson noted Mr Singh’s appointment followed an extensive recruitment process.
“We are delighted to appoint an internal candidate of Kul’s calibre, demonstrating the depth of talent within REA Group and our commitment on providing exciting career pathways for our people,” Mr Wilson said.
“Kul brings to the role an impressive track record of delivering results and business growth. He was a natural successor given his deep knowledge of the customer landscape and sentiment, along with an unwavering commitment to driving success for our customers and REA Group.”
Mr Singh said he was thrilled to step into the role and looked forward to working with the company’s teams to drive the successful delivery of their sales strategy.
“I am also looking forward to meeting with our customers to hear their thoughts and ideas about how we can further strengthen our partnership going forward,” Mr Singh said.
Mr Singh replaces Joseph Lyons who left REA Group at the end of 2019 to commence a new global sales role at Xero.
“We thank Joe for his significant contribution to REA Group and wish him all the very best in his new role at Xero,” Mr Wilson said.
