Established agent Andrew Welch has taken the leap into business ownership in Adelaide with Ray White.

A familiar face has opened a brand new office in the blue-chip eastern Adelaide suburb of Kensington.
Andrew Welch, who has become well known as one of the leading agents in the community, is thrilled to make the move into business ownership and launch Ray White Kensington.
“I have been in real estate for over 27 years as an agent, and I decided it was time to make the move into business ownership and start a legacy for my own family,” Mr Welch said.
“Real estate has always been something that I am passionate about; I want to lead by example and build a fantastic team with me here in Kensington.”
Mr Welch is joined by his wife Melissa who will be taking on a property management position in the business. They are also joined by sales associate Tim Knowling, and office manager Belinda Carbone.
Mr Welch said when he decided to take the plunge, he wanted to do it with a company and a team that aligned with his own personal values.
“I get along incredibly well with Ray White SA/NT CEO Matt Lindblom, and I admire the whole corporate team structure and their innovative approach to real estate,” Mr Welch said.
Kensington is a sought after suburb 5 kilometres east of the Adelaide CBD, and is known for its beautiful historical homes and a family friendly lifestyle. Mr Welch will continue his focus on the eastern suburbs which he has nurtured for over 20 years.
“It is a really beautiful place to live and raise a family; we love living in the eastern suburbs with our two little ones,” Melissa Welch said.
“The majority of properties that we sell are larger family homes, and many beautiful renovated character homes as well as investment properties. The attractions here are the great local schools, and it’s generally a lovely neighbourhood,” she said.
“The main goal for our first 12 months is to let people know that we are here, and to continue providing our services with honesty and integrity. We want all of our clients to know that we are now backed by the best group in Australia.”
The pair said that they will focus on working effectively with their hard working team and plan to build their business with more first class sales agents and property managers over time.
