Ray White Prestige Palm Beach Principal Noel Nicholson appeared on the latest season of The Bachelor Australia, where his son Jimmy was this year’s star.
The announcement:
Ray White Prestige Palm Beach principal and owner Noel Nicholson is definitely one proud dad.
His son Jimmy Nicholson was the 31-year-old dreamy pilot who sent hearts flying on The Bachelor Australia this year. The Nicholsons are a very close family.
Jimmy Nicholson was locked away for three months filming the hit show in a $6.3 million, five-acre property in Sydney’s Dural known as Le Chateau.
“He was only allowed to ring us every two weeks or so which was tough as we are a very tight knit family,” said the former Qantas Cabin Crew Manager Noel Nicholson, turned successful Ray White business owner.
In one of the early episodes of The Bachelor, the show aired a family scene at the Nicholson’s home on Sunrise Road, Palm Beach. It was a getting-to-know-them type scene with Jimmy and his mum cooking in the kitchen.
In the scene was Noel and wife Susan Nicholson, organisational psychologist and business manager at Ray White Prestige Palm Beach, sister Tahnee Nicholson, also an organisational psychologist and Malisa Howard, niece and lawyer. And not to mention Billie, the seven-year-old Border Collie dog.
“Billie adores Jimmy and she even sleeps with him on the rare occasions now that he is home,” Noel said.
“We are a family business working inside a huge family business at Ray White. In fact Jimmy used to help me run open homes when he was studying at university. The TV producers loved the fact Jimmy comes from a tight family unit, with strong female role models and values.
“To be honest, I have loved watching the show and I am so proud of how he carried himself and yes, he fell in love with Holly which is so great.”
