‘Transform’ is Elite Agent’s premier education program – a 30-day opportunity for real estate professionals to improve their careers and be coached by the best in the business.
More than 100 agents with various levels of experience participated in the 2019 challenge, from novice auctioneers to experienced agents and agency leaders.
Challengers are awarded points along the way for completing set tasks – with a final wrap up of achievements submitted by participants at the end of the challenge.
In one of the most competitive challenges of the last four years, it was an almost photo finish between Adam and runner-up, Sunshine Coast McGrath agent, Matt Diesel.
Elite Agent Editor and Transform program creator Samantha McLean said, “Transform 2019 was a real departure from some of the ‘intense’ challenges we’ve done in the past”.
“The market has changed and with it, we needed to find ways to give agents greater productivity, clarity and time to focus in on what really matters – the customer.
“There were only small tasks to complete each day, but I think we’ve proven it’s possible to make significant change by being consistent.”
Samantha said she had initially estimated the average agent completing Transform/19 would gain back at least one hour per day.
However, based on feedback from some of the 100 or so participants, the course returned so much more.
“Many of the participants gained back three hours or more of time per day to be redirected into prospecting, relationship building and customer experience,” she said.
Adam has completed a couple of rounds of Transform and says every time he does one of the 30-day challenges, he picks up something new.
But different this year was that he also took on an assistant, Chantelle, who also finished in the top 10.
“We actually had the best month we’ve ever had in sales and it was because we worked as a team.
“I’m absolutely stoked, I was not expecting to win that’s for sure.
“It just goes to show if you can just do everything a little bit better, every day, it all adds up and you get that big result at the end of the day,” Adam said.
This year’s runner-up, Matt Diesel came into the program this year looking for greater balance.
“I employed an assistant last year and moved to a dynamic office. Consequently, we have been busier than ever, but in turn, dealing with the extra workload and responsibility.
“This Transform has taught me to strip back to what really is important, refocus on dollar productive activities, and to prioritise my health and relationships.
“I actually didn’t think we were going to participate this year because we were too busy.
“But it was like everything that was in the program this year was designed specifically to take us to the next level.”
Elite Agent publisher Mark Edwards said it was amazing to see the personal and professional transformation that each of the active Transform participants enjoyed.
“Gaining back the ‘wasted’ time in our days is something that anyone can do with the right structure and mindset in place.
“The challenge for everyone is to put this new found time to good use and our Transform alumni this year showed us that the results can be astounding…even in challenging market conditions.”
