New Dromana office for Barry Plant Group

The new office strengthens Barry Plant’s service offering on the Mornington Peninsula, joining a local network of offices in Frankston, Mornington and Rosebud.

The Announcement:

A lifestyle change that involved moving to the Mornington Peninsula has motivated Terry Burgoyne, a highly skilled agent who has been part of the Barry Plant Group for over 30 years, to open a Barry Plant office in the thriving waterfront suburb of Dromana.

The new office adds further weight to Barry Plant’s service offering on the Mornington Peninsula, joining a local network of offices in Frankston, Mornington and Rosebud.

The new Dromana office is the fifth office that Barry Plant has opened this year.

The Barry Plant name is already well known in the area and the new office will tap into the strength of a 70-office network

Terry is excited to be bringing his real estate experience to an area he loves.

“Even after over 30 years in the industry I am still passionate about real estate,” he says.

“I still get enormous satisfaction helping people realise their real estate dreams – however big or small they are.”

An award-winning agent and accomplished auctioneer, Terry has put together a team that will be focussed on providing a service level that is both personal and professional.

As the owner of the Barry Plant Blackburn office for 32 years, he knows what challenges to expect.

Terry believes that Peninsula suburbs like Dromana and Safety Beach are insulated to market changes to some extent because of what they offer in a unique lifestyle.

“Now more people can work from home at least a few days a week and with Peninsula Link and major freeways, the commute to the city is just over an hour.

While traditionally a holiday home area with very few long-term residents, we’re finding more and more people are looking to make the area their permanent home.”

Over the past decade, Dromana has morphed from a sleepy holiday destination to a vibrant strip filled with exciting retail shops and a great range of restaurants and cafes.

Properties range from old weatherboard cottages to multi-million-dollar waterfront mansions.

Barry Plant Group CEO, McCarthy, welcomes the new office.

“We’re excited to be extending our reach into this beautiful region with a highly respected and experienced local.

Terry is a great agent with a genuine love of the industry and I know this new office will be a great success.”
