Built in 1911 and heritage listed it has been the location for some of Australia’s and the world’s most renowned acts. It has also been host to numerous local performances and TV shows. I am involved in local community theatre productions and love the art scene in this area. WELLCAMP AIRPORT Opened in late 2014, it is the first privately funded public airport in over half a century and is 747 capable. They have just make an agreement with the Australian Aviation academy to make Toowoomba its base. URBAN, SUBURBAN, AND ACREAGE PROPERTIES are all within a short distance from Toowoomba, amenities and transport. You can easily live on acreage and work in the CBD. FESTIVALS, EVENTS, COMMUNITY Known as the ‘Garden City’, Toowoomba has a spectacular annual flower festival, along with Easterfest and the food and wine festival. Numerous other events and festivals are held on a regular basis. GROWTH Significant investment has been put into redeveloping the Toowoomba CBD with roads, accommodation, new and redeveloped shopping centre and in addition to the airport, the Toowoomba second range crossing is in the budget and on track for boosting this region further.
