McGrath Estate Agents have announced the opening of a new office in Avoca Beach on the booming Central Coast region of NSW.

McGrath Avoca Beach will be led by principals Jaimie Woodcock and Mat Steinwede. Mr Woodcock and Mr Steinwede opened their first McGrath office in Terrigal in 2005, and this will be the sixth office for the Central Coast group, currently comprising Terrigal, Gosford, Ettalong, Toukley and Long Jetty.

McGrath Avoca Beach will service the suburbs of Avoca Beach and Copacabana.
Mr Woodcock said, “It’s been an amazing journey. Opening our sixth office in the region demonstrates our ongoing commitment to this important market. We’ve been servicing the residents of Avoca Beach from our Terrigal office since 2005, and decided to further expand our footprint and create a greater presence within the local community.”
Avoca Beach is one of the most highly desirable destinations on the Central Coast. The beachside suburb has experienced healthy growth, with a steady 5.2 per cent increase in house prices between 2017 and 2018 according to CoreLogic.
Mr Woodcock commented, ”Avoca Beach is an extremely sought-after area and offers a variety of choice in terms of property, with options ranging from beautiful holiday houses to exclusive residential homes. Popular units are located within the ‘Bowl’ area, a prestigious part of Avoca Beach due to its proximity to restaurants and the beach front. Many of these properties have northeasterly views of the beach and the Skillion headland.”
Impressed by the seclusion and spectacular beach, many find it an ideal location. The beachfront area is popular among holiday home buyers for both personal use and possible holiday letting.

Central Coast Council has invested $2.8 million at the southern end of the popular beach and works are also under way to stabilise, improve and protect Avoca Beach foreshore. Mr Woodcock noted these important upgrades. “With significant investment in infrastructure and services in recent years, I believe demand in the region will continue to strengthen with price growth to follow,” he said.
Mr Woodcock and Mr Steinwede will lead a team of two well-known, prominent agents and area specialists, Chris Andrews and Steve Nixon.
