LeBron James treats himself to a $56m Beverly Hills mansion

Since signing a four-year, A$221m deal with the L.A. Lakers in mid-2018, NBA superstar LeBron James has splashed out on three mansions in the city.

His latest purchase is his most lavish yet, – a $56 million Beverly Hills pile, formerly owned by Lee Phillip Bell, creator of The Young and the Restless, and The Bold and the Beautiful, among other frothy soap operas.

As you can see from the images below, the 1200sq m home sits on a 2.5-acre property, which features a tennis court with mini-pavilion, a large pool and adjoining pool house with two bathrooms, numerous fountains, indoors and out, and a movie room.

There are seven fireplaces, four bedrooms, and immaculate views of the city.

The mansion was listed in April at $56m, however, it is unclear what James paid for the property.
