Jellis Craig has acquired a Croydon franchise office, expanding its presence across Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs as the group continues to build on a record 2025.
The team, led by incoming director James Wilson, will operate under the Jellis Craig banner across the Manningham, Maroondah, and Yarra Ranges corridor – a region the group says is attracting sustained buyer interest driven by school catchments, parklands, and housing diversity.
James says the move was a natural fit.
“We’ve always respected and admired the way Jellis Craig operates, particularly across the eastern suburbs. We have a highly skilled and experienced team, and we can’t wait to see what we can do now that we’ve joined the Jellis Craig group,” he said.
Jellis Craig Manningham Director, Andrew Keleher, said that the team’s existing reputation and solid market fundamentals established them as the clear and obvious choice.
“James and his team are highly passionate and very well-connected, they have an intimate knowledge of the area, are active members of the community, and there’s a values alignment in terms of our management style and approach.
“We look forward to working with the team, as properties across the eastern suburbs continue to draw strong interest with buyers seeking out the great schools, lifestyle, parklands and retail that make the region so sought-after,” he said.
The deal follows a strong run for Jellis Craig. In 2025, the group sold more than 1,200 properties in October alone – its highest single month on record – and reached $1.83 billion in total sales volume. The group also hosted 235 auctions on a single Saturday in October, its busiest auction day ever.
Jellis Craig, founded in 1991, now operates across metropolitan Melbourne, the Bellarine and Mornington peninsulas, and Central Victoria.
