Australia’s largest independently owned real estate agency, Little Real Estate, has appointed James Kirkland as Executive General Manager of Sales and Marketing.
The third-generation real estate agent brings 20 years of cross-industry experience that spans real estate, media and technology.
Mr Kirkland joins Little Real Estate from Upside Realty, a direct-model agency operating in four states with a team of 60 agents, where he was director of sales and operations.
He also played a key role in growing NurtureCloud, an AI-driven, end-to-end PropTech software system now majority-owned by the White family, of the Ray White Group.
Mr Kirkland said joining Little Real Estate felt like coming full circle in a career that’s been rich in opportunities to innovate.

Mr Kirkland’s strength lies in his ability to use technology to boost operational efficiencies, database nurturing and agent sales funnel productivity.

Mr Kirkland’s appointment marks a change for Little Real Estate according to the agency’s Chief Executive Officer Andy Gooden.
“James and I have crossed paths commercially on a number of occasions over the past five years and what was immediately obvious was that our values absolutely align,” Mr Gooden said.

Little Real Estate, currently employs more than 250 staff and manages a portfolio exceeding 15,000 properties.
