What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received, and why?
See below, “a trusted friend as well as a professional agent”. This lovely client of ours was making a very difficult lifestyle move, and I am so pleased we could assist her though what could have been a tough situation – and we managed to achieve $160k above the asking price, which was a nice outcome for the client.

Paper Is there anything you’re afraid to do or you would do if you weren’t afraid to do it?
Skydiving

If you could give one piece of advice to your younger self, what would it be? What would you do more quickly?
This is a tough question as I try to live without regrets and to always look forward and adopt a positive approach to life. However, if I had my time again I would certainly have spent more quality time with a number of loved ones that I have lost along the way.

What’s next? 
Big plans for our agency that I can’t say too much about just now, except to say that we are upping the ante on our marketing, our internal processes and procedures along with continuing our commitment as a learning organisation.

In the short term we will be aiming to replicate last year’s success of a 67% increase in sales transaction volume versus 2012. We are also working towards increasing our property management base further. In a short five year span we have grown to collect just under $20m in rent per annum on behalf of our clients, we would love to see this hit $25m in the next 12-18 months.

We are also always on the lookout for the right people. There are plenty of people in the market right now looking to get into real estate, but not that many meet the skill set, mindset and culture criteria we have at Wilson Property Agents. In short, 2014 is pegged to be out best year ever – watch this space!
