Homely appoints Oliver Stanbrook to lead growth in Queensland

The former Domain and Carsales manager’s appointment is part of a hiring blitz for Homely, with more announcements to follow in the coming weeks.

The Announcement:

Homely.com.au announces its next era of growth in Queensland with the appointment of Oliver Stanbrook to Queensland State Sales Manager, effective immediately.

Oliver was previously a Senior Partnerships Manager in Melbourne, where he played a key role in growing Homely’s Victorian and National industry network over the last five years. Oliver’s collective experience of 17 years in the online marketplace industry between Domain, Carsales, and Homely puts him in a prime position to lead the Queensland team, driving scale and growth across the state.

Homely Head of Sales, Rory Cook, says “Oliver is the perfect person for the job. He has been a crucial hire, as he has helped grow Homely’s industry partnerships across Australia and now he brings his invaluable experience and energy to focus on the Queensland market.” Cook adds, “Queensland is a huge market for us. Agents are begging for property portal competition and meaningful change, and that’s exactly what Homely is bringing to the tables for the industry.”

Stanbrook says, “I’ve always worked for the industry challenger. Learning how to grow and represent a business that’s truly different from the competition has become a strength of mine.” Stanbrook continues, “Competition drives innovation, brings the price down for the consumer, and fundamentally drives growth and value in the sector.”

“Queensland is a very important part of the Australian real estate ecosystem and is key to Homely’s growth over the coming months. I’m passionate about what Homely has to offer and I am excited to lead the Queensland team. I can’t wait to get stuck in.”

Since launching in Queensland in 2020, Homely has seen steady uptake of key industry partnerships all across the state, something that is set to grow exponentially as Stanbrook takes the lead.

Homely’s strategic industry partners hail from across every corner of the state. The award-winning portal is now backed by more than 50+ of Queensland’s most influential real estate figures including Dane Atherton of Harcourts Coastal, Dwight Ferguson of Ray White Ascot, Shane Colquhoun of LJ Hooker Solutions Gold Coast, Drew Davies and Patrick McKinnon of Place Ascot in Brisbane, Daniel Lee of Plum Property in Toowong, and the Page & Pearce team in Townsville.

Homely is well-prepared to make an impact in the Queensland market. Along with Stanbrook’s appointment, Homely also welcomed Annaleise Lambooy, Marcus Frater and Melanie O’Brien as partnership managers. Homely continues its hiring blitz, with new appointments to be announced in the coming weeks.
