The inspiration was iconic Christmas movie(s) Home Alone, which they felt would do well to show off the three-bedroom home at Christmas time, allowing potential buyers to envision how their Christmas could look in the townhouse.
The team from Collings Real Estate took the initiative to personally decorate the property for the video with a christmas tree, tinsel and other decorations to appeal to the modern family.
The video has received more than 2500 views in the first 24 hours since launching on their Facebook page.
Collings say vendors are becoming receptive to the idea of creative video marketing for the social media campaign.
The goal behind the social media campaign is to find a buyer who may not be actively looking or may not have considered this property in their current search criteria.
By creating viral content, Collings hopes these viewers will subconsciously take in the property.
