Harcourts Australia and Harcourts New Zealand will run their first joint auction campaign, with participating offices in both countries working to a shared timeline from 25 January to 7 February 2027.
Called Your Day, the campaign is designed to give offices a common focus heading into the new year, with properties going to auction throughout late January and early February.
Adrian Knowles, CEO of Harcourts Australia, said the campaign brings the two networks together behind a shared objective for the first time.
“Your Day is about creating an opportunity for our network and our clients. By bringing Australia and New Zealand together for a coordinated auction campaign for the first time, we can give participating offices something to get behind, create a shared focus and help build momentum at the start of the year,” Adrian said.
“Every market and every property is different, and local knowledge remains critical. This campaign is about combining that local expertise with the strength of our wider network to create more opportunities for buyers and sellers.”
Kobe Rae, Head of Auctions Australia, said the campaign keeps the emphasis on sound auction strategy and client outcomes while giving offices a common platform.
“For sellers, it’s an opportunity to put a well-prepared property in front of buyers early in the year. For buyers, it creates another reason to engage with the market and explore what’s available. The fundamentals still matter: good advice, realistic expectations and a strategy that suits each client,” Kobe said.
Shane Cortese, National Auction Manager for Harcourts New Zealand, said the campaign allows offices to build engagement with buyers and sellers while staying focused on local conditions.
“Auctions work best when buyers are engaged, sellers understand the process and the property is well prepared for the market,” Shane said.
“Bringing the two networks together creates a great opportunity to share that focus across Australia and New Zealand. Ultimately, the aim is to help our offices create opportunities for their clients and give buyers and sellers a clear path forward.”
The campaign has already attracted support from offices on both sides of the Tasman.
Brayden Coldicutt, Managing Director of Harcourts Hawke’s Bay, said the office was keen to build on its existing auction results as part of the wider push.
“We’ve always had a really strong auction culture here at Harcourts Hawke’s Bay, with fantastic results for our clients, so we’re super excited to be part of Your Day,” Brayden said.
Jonathon King, Chief Growth Officer at Harcourts Pinnacle in Brisbane, said the campaign gave his team a clear reason to build momentum into the new year.
“What appeals to us is the combination of a broader campaign and the local expertise our people bring every day,” Jonathon said.
As part of the Australian leg of the campaign, Harcourts will donate $100 from every eligible Your Day sale in Australia to Orange Sky through the Harcourts Foundation, which provides free laundry and shower services for people experiencing homelessness. The donation applies to Australian sales only.
