Harcourts Victoria has opened a new office in Box Hill, led by Michael Wu and Janssen Xiang, who bring more than 35 years of combined real estate experience to Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.
Michael has spent over 15 years in the industry, handling residential sales above $5 million and commercial transactions exceeding $20 million.
Janssen, who entered the Melbourne market in 2005, is recognised as Melbourne’s first Chinese auctioneer.
Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, he has sold more than 1,000 properties and conducted hundreds of auctions over nearly two decades.
Adam Fiteni, CEO of Harcourts Victoria, said the pairing represented a strong addition to the network.
“Having Michael and Janssen at the helm of Harcourts Box Hill is a massive win for our network and the local area,” Adam said.
“Their combined track record is undeniably exceptional, but it’s their genuine commitment to their clients and their deep roots in Melbourne’s diverse community that truly set them apart.”
The Box Hill office will focus on serving the area’s multicultural population, with Janssen’s language skills bridging local and international buyers.
Janssen has a history of community involvement, donating his auctioneering services to organisations including Lions Clubs, Rotary Clubs, and Alex Makes Meals, a food security initiative.
The new office is Harcourts Victoria’s latest expansion in Melbourne’s eastern corridor.
