Fletchers launches film to celebrate centenary

A 100-year anniversary is a feat very few Australian real estate agencies accomplish, but Fletchers Real Estate has done it, clocking up a century and celebrating with a flash event and the launch of a brand film and centenary documentary.

From humble beginnings at their first offices at 2 Cotham Road in Kew in 1919, to a network of more than 20 offices a century later, the foundations established by the Fletcher family in the early days enabled the business to remain relevant over the years, despite the rapidly increasing pace of change.

Executive Chairman Rob Fletcher said he started with the company 50 years ago and it was amazing to think they had hit the 100-year mark.

“To be part of the growth and working with so many wonderful people has been a real highlight of my time,” Mr Fletcher said.

Fletchers celebrated the landmark achievement last weekend at their Centenary Awards Night, a formal, black-tie event which was held in the Main Room at Melbourne Town Hall.

Director and CEO Bradley Brown said Fletchers also used the special occasion to unveil a range of new innovations, which included a new brand film and centenary documentary.

“The decision for Fletchers to produce a brand film and documentary reflective of our longstanding history and strong family values was an important part of our centenary celebrations,” Mr Brown said.
