Elite Retreat Bali 2023: Is it possible to build a zero cost business in the AI age?

Artificial intelligence: It’s been heralded as the ‘Industrial Revolution 4.0’ and, for agents willing to think outside the square, it could be the key to your brand’s future expansion.

The theme of this year’s Elite Retreat, being held in Bali, is “The Empowered Agency”.

Elite Agent Managing Editor, Samantha McLean says that the past three months of technological development have been phenomenal, presenting questions that go to the core of how agents do business.

“We’re giving leaders the toolkit to work out what’s happening in the world of AI and how it can help lower your cost base while you focus on growing,” she says.

“This is a period of great change but also opportunity.”

Samantha says Elite Retreat is unlike the usual real estate conference, with speakers selected for their ability to help you to think outside the square.

“We’re not here for scripts and dialogues; we’re here to challenge your thinking and inspire you to be more creative than your competition,” she says.

“We’ve gathered a group of speakers who are uniquely qualified to talk about the future potential of building a real estate business that leverages these amazing opportunities.”

The speaker lineup, consisting of those from inside the real estate industry as well as other fields, has been curated to provide a cohesive picture of how to transform your business by harnessing the power of people, culture and technology.

Founder of The Intelligent Rebellion and Threesticks Training and Development, Rhea Mercado.

The lineup includes Tané Hunter, Founder of Future Crunch, a group of scientists, artists, researchers and entrepreneurs that believe science and technology can create a world that is more peaceful, connected and abundant.

Tané will be able to share insights on AQ – the Adaptability Quotient – and put into context how the changes in technology will impact various parts of our work and daily life.

Tim Duggan, Co-founder of Junkee Media, author of books Cult Status: How to Build a Business People Adore and Killer Thinking: How to Turn Good Ideas into Brilliant Ones will educate attendees on the importance of building a business customers will want to work with.

Scott Bateman, CEO of PropTech Kolmeo, will be returning with an Harvard Business School-style case study based on building a business to compete with new age agencies with lower cost bases.

Tech entrepreneur Jeff Turner will be on hand to offer insights into exactly how AI fits into the real estate puzzle.

International keynote speaker, trainer and coach, Mark Carter.

Other speakers in the lineup include respected real estate executive and current General Manager of Sales – Queensland for The Agency, Steve Carroll; Founder of The Intelligent Rebellion and Threesticks Training and Development, Rhea Mercado; and international keynote speaker, trainer and coach, Mark Carter.

Held from July 3-6, this year’s Elite Retreat will take place at Bali’s Mulia Resort.

Set on a secluded 1km stretch of white sand beach in Nusa Dua, the resort offers multi-award-winning, spectacular luxury beachfront suites.

Other amenities include restaurants and bars, an oceanfront oasis pool and the Mulia Spa.

Along with keynote speaker sessions, the agenda includes a choice of on-site or off-site activities, as well as evening keynotes, luxurious dinners and, of course, a farewell party.
