Domain teams up with The Block agents to sell this year’s properties

Domain will again be supporting the selling agents on this season of The Block.

In the lead up to the finale, Domain will be helping the agents maximise their exposure for the five period homes in the Melbourne bayside suburb of Brighton.

The Block listings will be exclusive to Domain, with agents given access to property marketing offerings across print, digital and social media.

Belle Property auctioneer David Wood from Melbourne’s Albert Park expects the 1930’s home being renovated by South Australian couple Daniel and Jade to attract families.

“We’ll be using social media and all the Domain tools such as the opportunity to advertise the property as a dream home, which attracts a national and international audience in the AB demographic,” Mr Wood said.

Buxton Brighton director Halli Moore is new to the hit show and aware of the challenges that selling in a COVID era entails, but is confident of achieving a great result for her Blockheads: Luke and Jasmin from Western Australia.

“With a terrific marketing program planned, I’m confident we will be able to achieve a great result for our vendors, even with COVID-19 uncertainties,” Ms Moore said.

The Agency general manager for Victoria, Peter Kakos, who is set to market NSW couple Sarah and George’s 1940’s property, said he will be looking to attract buyers from across the country, so digital marketing on Domain will be crucial.

Meanwhile, McGrath’s Michael Townsend will be representing Jimmy and Tam from Queensland, and Marty Fox  is the agent for the show’s first father-daughter duo Harry and Tash from Melbourne.
