Direct Connect partners with RACV to give movers access to even more benefits

Moving services company, Direct Connect, has announced an exclusive partnership with the Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV), giving RACV members seamless access to Direct Connect’s moving service.

Over the last 16 years, Direct Connect has assisted more than 1.5 million Australians to move home, taking care of services including electricity, gas, internet, cleaning, and removalists. The service allows customers to have all their utilities connected via one provider.

Thanks to the new partnership with RACV, Direct Connect customers across Victoria will also have access to RACV’s Emergency Home Assist program which provides homeowners and landlords with rapid response assistance from plumbers, electricians and locksmiths for common home emergencies.

Direct Connect’s CEO David Holman said the company was looking forward to having RACV as a key strategic partner.

“There is so much opportunity for continued collaboration which will provide our customers and RACV members with access to more benefits, more services and a better moving experience,” Mr Holman said.

RACV General Manager Home, Darren Turner, said the partnership with Direct Connect is a natural extension for RACV, given the organisation already provides services across the home, including insurance, home security, rooftop solar and trades.

“Building on our foundation as advocates for our members in protecting and enhancing their homes, we’re pleased to be able to partner with Direct Connect to go one step further and take the stress out of moving house for our members,” Mr Turner said.

RACV members can contact Direct Connect via a customised sign up form on the RACV website.
