DiJones announces their expansion into Illawarra

DiJones has announced a new office in the Illawarra region, opening their doors in the sought-after Wollongong market.

The announcement:

A booming Illawarra market and clear links to buyer migration patterns has seen DiJones establish an office in Wollongong.

DiJones CEO Dean Mackie said the Illawarra was a strategic location for the continued expansion of the brand.

“We have enjoyed great success with our expansion into the Central Coast and the move into the Illawarra supports strong buyer interest that we are seeing particularly from the Sydney market.

“Wollongong is an important piece in the puzzle and complements our reach from our market leading Southern Highlands office.

“We will have agents covering the entire region including Helensburgh to Kiama, and onto Berry and Nowra.”

Mr Mackie said the office will open with a well-respected and knowledgeable team of seven real estate experts including, Joshua Kersten, partner and regional residential sales manager and partners Jason Capelo, Rob Mancini and Alexander Duncan.

“We are partnering with a collective of like-minded real estate professionals with 70 years of combined local experience and look forward to unlocking the potential in this region,” Mr Mackie said.

Joshua Kersten said he was attracted to the strong leadership and support DiJones offered.

“DiJones shares our values and culture,” Mr Kersten said.

“By joining the DiJones network we will now have access to their shared data base of clients which means that we can cross pollinate and share clients from Terrigal, the Southern Highlands and Sydney.

“It’s giving us a previously unavailable opportunity to tap into these markets. Since the beginning of COVID we have seen an unprecedented wave of interest in the Illawarra region. The Illawarra has always been popular but COVID and flexible working arrangements have been a game changer.

“Over the last 18 months we have delivered a full range of services to clients across their whole property journey from renting right through to buying as well as investing and we look forward to seeing the prestige market in the Illawarra continue to flourish.”

The DiJones Illawarra office will be located in the central Wollongong beachside location of 35 Crown Street, Wollongong.

DiJones was established in 1992, and operates 16 offices on Sydney’s Upper North Shore, Northern Suburbs, Lower North Shore and Eastern Suburbs as well as Central Coast and Southern Highlands.
