Queenstown was centre stage for REMAX Australia’s elite at the network’s annual Platinum Plus Forum last week.

The three-day event provided an opportunity for top-performing sales agents to come together for curated professional development designed to educate, stimulate and inspire.

Managing Director Joel Davoren said the annual event is tailored exclusively for REMAX high achievers, providing a mix of industry insights, strategic discussion and social networking opportunities.

Welcoming guests to an intimate sit-down dinner, Mr Davoren greeted the 60-strong group to “one of the most magical places in the world”.

“This is one of our network’s most highly anticipated events and we’re thrilled to be here with you in Queenstown – it is truly a special place,” he said.

“We’re all here to have a bit of fun, but also to learn and, in some ways, improve. This is a golden opportunity to meet people and learn from those who are doing exceptionally well, so let’s make the most of it.”

Following the opportunity to unwind with peers at the welcome dinner, day one of conferencing saw powerhouse real estate business owners Megan Jaffe and Thomas Farmer share key business insights with the network’s top performers.

With nearly two decades in real estate, Megan is widely respected throughout the industry for her knowledge, leadership and unwavering focus on delivering outstanding outcomes. As the business owner of the number one internationally ranked office within her network, she brings exceptional insight into the importance of building strong relationships and fostering collaboration across the industry.

Accomplished business leader Thomas is a recognised strategic thinker whose leadership has underpinned consistent high performance in sales throughout his market.

Together, Megan and Thomas brought a wealth of insight on growth and leadership to the Platinum Plus Forum sharing their expertise on what it takes to perform at real estate’s highest level.

High achieving sales agent Dan Elliott, from Brisbane’s REMAX Results, and 2025 REMAX Eagle Award winner and broker-owner of REMAX Northern Realty, Wes McGregor, joined Thomas Farmer for a panel session exploring strategy shifts and the art of navigating difficult conversations in today’s fast-moving market.

The session delivered candid discussion, practical insights and actionable business takeaways.

The final day of the conference featured an impactful session from international keynote speaker, James Laughlin, a number one best-selling author, seven-time world champion musician and trusted advisor to leaders and high-performance teams across a range of disciplines.

As the author of Habits of High Performers and host of the top-ranked podcast of the same name, James brings experience that is both diverse and deeply practical.

Having worked with billion-dollar CEOs, elite athletes and high-performing teams from around the world, he shared his practical framework to cut through complexity and equip people with the mindset and tools to perform at the highest level.

The annual Platinum Plus event is offered exclusively to REMAX high achievers and is a ‘by invitation only’ event. This year’s event brought together over 60 of the network’s top performers at QT Queenstown, New Zealand.

“Each year, as our top performers do, we aim to raise the bar with our events,” Mr Davoren said.

“Platinum Plus gives us the opportunity to showcase valuable industry insights and experiences from highly successful business leaders, while providing the opportunity to step outside our businesses, experience incredible destinations and connect with likeminded people.

“The balance of professional development and meaningful connection is a key part of the culture of our network and the feedback from this year’s event has been incredibly positive.”
