Knight Frank has appointed Chris Perrone as Associate Director, Tenant Representation – Industrial, expanding the firm’s Industrial Tenant Representation team.

Based in Melbourne, Chris will work alongside Richard Trumbull, who joined Knight Frank as Partner, Tenant Representation – Industrial last year, to grow the firm’s offering for businesses seeking industrial and logistics accommodation across Australia.

His role covers advising industrial occupiers on property strategy, market testing, site selection, lease negotiations, relocations, renewals and occupancy solutions, as well as introducing clients to Knight Frank’s broader occupier services, including portfolio, project, development and property management.

Chris brings more than a decade of experience across commercial property, logistics and business ownership, most recently at uTenant, a property and warehouse matching platform.

He has worked with clients ranging from local businesses to Fortune 500 occupiers, helping them identify, secure and negotiate industrial and commercial space.

Richard said the appointment marked another step in growing the business nationally.

“Chris is a fantastic addition to the team. He has built a reputation for developing strong client relationships, navigating complex negotiations and delivering tailored property outcomes that align with business objectives,” he said.

“He brings a unique combination of industrial property expertise, logistics experience and first-hand business ownership experience, which gives him a strong understanding of the challenges our clients face when making property decisions.”

Richard said demand for specialist advice was growing as occupiers navigate changing market conditions, and that advisers who can “create competitive tension and negotiate with the occupiers’ best interests at the forefront” were becoming increasingly important to that demand.

Chris said relationships would remain central to his approach.

“I enjoy bringing the right people together, navigating negotiations and delivering outcomes that work for everyone involved. For me, relationships matter, and I’ve always believed that being honest, reliable and doing what you say you’ll do goes a long way,” he said.

“Knight Frank has built an exceptional reputation across the industrial sector, and the opportunity to work alongside Richard and the broader occupier team was a major drawcard for me.”
