CBRE has appointed James Palmer and Nick Drake to its Victorian office leasing team, both joining from JLL.
James takes on the role of Regional Director of Office Leasing, a position with both local and national responsibilities.
He brings more than 20 years of project leasing experience, having acted on behalf of large domestic and offshore institutional landlords, developers and investors.
Nick has been appointed Joint Head of Office Leasing in Victoria, working alongside CBRE’s Ashley Buller and he brings two decades of experience in commercial office leasing, with expertise across project and development leasing for private and institutional landlords in the Melbourne CBD, Docklands and Southbank markets.
Over the past decade, the pair have played roles in securing tenants for several of Melbourne’s landmark commercial developments, including 555 Collins Street, Wesley Place, 101 Collins Street and Melbourne Quarter.
Tim Courtnall, CBRE’s Head of Office Leasing, Pacific, said the appointments would strengthen the firm’s client offering in Victoria and its national leasing platform.

Both appointments commence from July 1, 2026.
