Chris Hill plans to make the Barry Plant brand more “sticky” for its members.
The Announcement:
Chris Hill has joined the Barry Plant Group as a Franchise Development Manager, expanding coaching and business support across the 70 strong office network.
The appointment comes hot on the heels of the appointment of high profile industry veteran Lisa Pennell as COO and is an important element of the groupโs plans for growing the franchise, both in offices and results.
While the group is already well known in the industry for its long tenure, Chris wants to work to make the Barry Plant brand even more โstickyโ for its members.
โI want upcoming agents to be in no doubt that their career will be nurtured, that theyโll be part of a highly supportive cadre, that theyโll be mentored and trained, but also have fun along the way,โ Mr Hill said.
โReal estate is a tough gig and the turnover in our industry is testimony to this. Our culture has always been really supportive, with many of our longer term members having formed close friendships stretching over decades.โ
โWhile recruiting new agents and offices to the brand, weโll also be focussed on developing the next generation of leaders within the group through a new networking and mentoring program due to be launched shortly.โ
Ms Pennell said she was thrilled with the appointment.
โChris is the perfect package of youth, energy and experience, plus he is red, white and blue through and through having worked with the Barry Plant Group for much of the past decade,โ she said.
โHe knows the challenges that real estate throws up but also understands the values and
culture that Barry Plant is so well known for.โ
โChris has been a top sales consultant, held sales manager roles and has also been a business director. He has the on-the-ground experience of what it takes to not only be successful as an individual agent but to build a robust business.โ
โIโm incredibly excited to have Chris join our team and look forward to the growth journey we are embarking on together.โ
