The Californian home once owned by former California Governor and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and his then-wife, journalist Maria Shriver, has been listed for sale.
The home is one of 16 properties in a small community, peppered along a country lane of Sunset Boulevard, and is currently owned by attorney and author Maxwell Kennedy, the son of Robert and Ethel Kennedy, and his wife, Vicki Strauss Kennedy.
The community, known as Pacific Palisades, has attracted world-famous politicians, actors and industry leaders, including Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ben Affleck, and Dennis Quaid.
According to TopTenRealEstateDeals, the stunning 4177 square foot home was built in 1981 and sits on 1.75 acres between Will Rogers Historic Park and Rustic Canyon Creek.
The five-bedroom home has six baths, three fireplaces, a gorgeous kitchen and adjoining family room, and includes a sauna, spa, grotto-style pool and a lighted tennis court, surrounded by ancient oak, sycamore and eucalyptus trees.
The property was the family home for Schwarzenegger and Shriver and their four children from 1986 until the couple separated. In 2013, the house was sold to Max and Vicki Kennedy for US$12.9 million.
