Former AFL Kangaroos star, Anthony Stevens is embarking on a new career path as a rural real estate sales executive with Elders Real Estate. Mr Stevens will service clients across all agriculture asset classes throughout Victoria and the Riverina.
Inducted into the AFL Hall of Fame this week, following an outstanding football career spanning over 16 years and 279 games with the North Melbourne Football Club, Mr Stevens is looking forward to pursuing his passion working in the real estate industry.
Mr Stevens will work closely with Rural Real Estate Manager, Victoria and Riverina, Nick Myer, along with Elders’ national network of more than 900 sales agents and 300 property managers.
“I was drawn to Elders for the Company’s long-standing history with rural Australia, the culture and the business model that allows agents to work together within the national network.
“The opportunity to work with a diverse range of local and international clients in the agricultural sector is something I am looking forward to,” he says.
Tom Russo, Elders General Manager Real Estate, is pleased to welcome such a strong asset to the Elders Real Estate Team.
“Anthony has a deep understanding of rural real estate, growing up in regional Victoria and having hands on experience in the management of agricultural enterprises.
“He is ideally placed to forge an outstanding career with Elders and will bring the same passion, integrity and professionalism he applied throughout his football career to service our rural real estate clients.
“Elders continues to invest in having the best capital city and in-country rural property marketing capability so that we can provide superior service to our clients, matched with a network of buyers and sellers that is unsurpassed in the industry. Both Anthony and Nick have extensive networks throughout Victoria and will be a very powerful team,” he says.
