Andrew and Tracey Macmillan have joined FOUNDIT, the tech-enabled buyer’s agency, adding prestige-market experience and established buyer advocacy to its Melbourne operation.
Andrew Macmillan spent more than three decades in Melbourne real estate, leading Jellis Craig Stonnington, Sorrento and Richmond. A licensed estate agent and auctioneer, he specialises in historically significant inner-city period homes and has deep local knowledge across South Yarra, Richmond and East Melbourne.
He said the move to buyer-side representation followed a conversation with FOUNDIT Chairman Nick Dowling.
“The Buyers Advocacy piece has always fascinated me, because this side of the market has traditionally been under served and under represented,” Andrew said.
“So as I approached the next chapter in my career, and after speaking with FOUNDIT Chairman Nick Dowling who I have worked with and known for a long time, I felt that it was a great opportunity to take on a new challenge and bring all of my experience, knowledge and network over to support purchasers.”
Tracey Macmillan has spent several years as a buyer’s advocate representing clients across Stonnington and Boroondara, and previously spent 25 years as a founder and director of a medical device and technology company.
“My career has been spent in industries at the forefront of technology,” Tracey said.
“Now as a partner at FOUNDIT, I can bring that same precision to property – new technology, high end research and data paired with real, lived local market expertise.”
FOUNDIT Co-Founder Angus Ferguson said the appointments reflected the balance the company is building between technology and human judgement.

FOUNDIT was founded in 2025 by former Domain executive Angus Ferguson and former fund manager Joel Tomaino, and describes its mission as closing what it estimates is Australia’s $500 billion buyer-side property gap.
The company now operates offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Geelong, Byron Bay and Noosa, having launched across the eastern states mid last year, and expects to expand into other markets over the next 12 months.
