Alan King named Century 21 state director for Victoria

Century 21 has appointed Alan King as state director Victoria, bringing more than 20 years of real estate sales, agency ownership and leadership experience to the role.

Alan will focus on growing and strengthening the Century 21 network across Victoria, supporting business owners, principals and sales leaders to build high-performing, sustainable real estate businesses.

He owned and managed his own agency for more than a decade, giving him what the network describes as a practical understanding of what it takes to operate, grow and lead a real estate business, from recruitment, team development and profitability through to customer experience, market positioning and long-term growth.

His approach centres on building relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and giving principals and teams the leadership, support and strategic direction to achieve their goals.

“At Century 21 my focus is on strengthening existing businesses by ensuring they are supported with their business goals, and then expanding the Victorian network,” Alan said.

“I work alongside our people, creating opportunities for individual offices, their teams and the Century 21 brand.”

Before moving into real estate, Alan served as a Victoria Police detective, a background the network says has shaped his approach to leadership, negotiation, communication, problem-solving and decision-making.

Century 21 chairman Charles Tarbey welcomed the appointment as the brand continues to build out its leadership team.

“We’re so thrilled for Alan to join as we continue to strengthen our leadership desk across multiple levels of our business,” Charles said.

“Alan brings great experience across the industry and unmatched values from his service time as a Victoria Police Detective.”
