Gal Gadot has listed her Malibu beachfront penthouse for US$8.75 million (AUD$12 million) – nearly US$4 million more than she and husband Jaron Varsano paid for it in December 2020.
Realtor.com revealed the couple purchased the three-bedroom, three-bathroom property on Pacific Coast Highway for US$5 million via a trust named for Ms Gadot’s grandfather, according to property records.
Since then, they’ve transformed the dwelling from its original traditional aesthetic – white walls, wooden accents, clean features – into something moodier and more organic.
The renovation included dark wood floors, limewashed ceilings, and natural materials throughout.
A glass railing was added to the balcony to preserve uninterrupted ocean views.
According to the listing, the property sits directly on the beach, with a balcony spanning the building’s rear.
Inside, a sunken living room with dual L-shaped couches and a fireplace is separated from the open-plan kitchen by a few steps down.
The kitchen features an island seating five, plus a dining area with a midcentury modern-inspired table.
Outside, the balcony accommodates sitting and dining areas, with the current setup including a firepit.
The home is located approximately one mile from the Malibu neighbourhood affected by the California wildfires in January 2025.
It sits near several local establishments, including Nobu, the Malibu Pier, Soho House’s Little Beach House, and the Malibu Beach Inn at Carbon Beach.
Security features include a gated entryway and secure parking area.
The couple’s primary residence is a five-bedroom, 4,300-square-foot estate in Beverly Crest, Beverly Hills, purchased in 2016 for US$5.55 million.
The Malibu penthouse, by comparison, offers less than 2,000 square feet of living space.
