A seasoned real estate entrepreneur, Chevonne began her career in South Africa at just 18 years old.
Only a few years later, Chevonne and Brian opened their own agency which quickly grew to hold 50 per cent market share and became the largest independent real estate office in the district.
After partnering with a franchise brand and later selling that successful business, Chevonne and Brian took on a second license before eventually deciding to immigrate to Australia.
Since settling on the Sunshine Coast seven years ago, Chevonne has spent the past six years servicing Palmwoods and its surrounds, and building a strong reputation within the Ray White group.
Known for her professionalism, strong results, and deep ties to the community, Chevonne is now bringing that experience into her next chapter as principal of Ray White Palmwoods.
“Palmwoods is such a special place,” she said.
“It has that old-school community charm, but it’s also part of a rapidly growing region. We’ve got everything here; from entry-level homes to multimillion-dollar acreages, great schools, new estates, and a real mix of young families and retirees. It’s a beautiful lifestyle area that still feels authentic and connected.”
Brian Rees also brings strong corporate business acumen to the new venture, having operated at a very high level for 25 years in large companies.
His attention to details and customer service skills were honed perfectly for a real estate transition.
The new Ray White Palmwoods office is located directly opposite local icon Rick’s Garage, placing the business at the heart of town in more ways than one.
For Chevonne, there was no question about which brand to partner with for this new venture.

Although Palmwoods has traditionally felt like a boutique market, Chevonne believes the time is right to bring the strength of a major brand to the area, and to set a new benchmark in service and performance.
“There’s so much potential in Palmwoods and the surrounding areas. We’ve lived here, we love it, and we’re ready to give the community something special. Our goal in the first 12 months is to firmly establish ourselves as the go-to real estate office in the region, or service, results, and local knowledge.”
