World surf champion Jack Robinson lists iconic Margaret River clifftop home

The Olympic medallist’s four-bedroom Gnarabup retreat, complete with a granny flat and wellness studio, offers uninterrupted views of Margaret River’s legendary surf breaks and rare coastal privacy.

Australian surf star and Olympic medallist Jack Robinson has put his prized Margaret River property on the market, offering buyers the rare opportunity to own a piece of surfing history on one of the country’s most sought-after coastlines.

The four-bedroom, two-bathroom clifftop residence at 53 Baudin Drive, Gnarabup overlooks some of Margaret River’s most famous breaks, including Main Break, The Box, and The Bombie.

The property also includes a two-bedroom, two-bathroom granny flat, and is being marketed by Sarah Twine from Ray White Stocker Preston, with offers expected in the mid-$3 million range.

“We purchased the property several years ago as a base that felt aligned with the lifestyle I live and love, close to nature, with a view to the waves I surf every day, and with enough privacy and space to truly switch off between competitions,” Mr Robinson said.

“One of the things I’ve loved most about the home is the amount of space it offers.”

The two-storey main residence is a light-filled sanctuary of timber and glass, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing uninterrupted ocean views.

Sliding doors open onto a wraparound deck, which Mr Robinson describes as the heart of daily life at the property.

Two upper-level bedrooms feature louvre windows and direct deck access, while a downstairs games room with a pool table provides a relaxed retreat.

The fully self-contained granny flat offers flexibility for guests, extended family, or a private workspace. “It gives the property a real sense of scale and versatility that’s quite rare,” Mr Robinson said.

In recent years, the property was further enhanced with a dedicated yoga and wellness studio.

“It can just as easily be used as an art studio, creative workspace, or training zone, it’s a really special part of the home and captures the natural light and views in a way that feels inspiring and calm.”

Mr Robinson emphasised the home’s individuality, noting that it was designed with character rather than conformity.

“What makes this property stand out to me is that it doesn’t feel like every other new build. So many homes today can look the same, very predictable. We were intentional about keeping it feeling like a home. It has soul, not just square meterage.”

He added that the property’s seamless indoor-outdoor flow, natural light, and sense of privacy have made it an ideal base for both training and downtime.

“It’s a place where I’ve been able to train, prepare for major events, and also properly unwind with family. There are a lot of special memories here, early mornings before heading to surf, downtime between tour legs, and celebrating wins with friends and family.”

Mr Robinson believes the home would appeal to buyers who value space, privacy, and distinctive design.
